About the event

Advent celebrates the birth of Christ and anticipates return of Christ.

The first two Sundays look forward to Christ’s return.

The second two Sundays remember Christ’s birth.

He has come to earth and will come again!

These Bible readings will help you think deeply and historically about this truth:

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

Isaiah 7:14

Joy Beginning December 17th

The third week of Advent we are invited to reflect on the joy we have access to because of our faith in Jesus. One of the defining characteristics of Christ-followers is their joyful demeanor. Dwelling on the great joy we have because of Jesus helps us overcome the struggles we may have had during the year.
